Plans
List of things I really want to do before I die:
(in no particular order)
1) Work one meaningful job as a teacher, enjoy it, find it rewarding, and earn enough so I don’t have to actively worry about money every day.
2) Earn at least my Master’s Degree if not my Doctorate in Education/Psychology
3) Learn to play Beethoven’s “Hammerklavier,” and some more Chopin on the piano.
4) Sing at least once in a restaurant/nightclub with a band.
5) Meet Eddie Izzard and chill with him for a bit.
6) Learn to play the drum part to “Take Me Out” by Franz Ferdinand, and get Helen to play the guitar parts with me.
7) Go to an Ohio State vs. Michigan game in Columbus, OH.
8) Have children with a husband that believes in me and loves me for my personality.
9) Lose enough weight to wear a size 12 or 14 again and stay there, because that’s the best, healthiest size for me.
10) See Jamiroquai live, meet Jay Kay, and show him my tattoo.
11) Have some of my writing published.
12) Witness the Cavs win an NBA title, hopefully attending a playoff game.
13) Swim a really long distance without stopping; like the English Channel or from FL to Cuba.
14) Do some sort of artistic collaboration with Helen; like a story, screenplay, or book.
15) Coach high school or club swimming for at least one season.
16) Be in an opera or another musical.
17) Write, direct, and/or make a movie.
18) Learn a language with a different alphabet, like Hebrew, Arabic, Japanese, or Russian.
19) Be able to speak Spanish fluently without thinking really hard.
20) Take a hiking and kayaking road trip with Adam.
